Free Tools for Qualitative Data Analysis

- Online via Zoom
- Zoom link sent in registration and confirmation emails
- This workshop discusses free tools that are available for conducting qualitative data analysis, with a focus on Taguette and spreadsheet tools.
- This workshop does not assume any previous knowledge of Taguette or other QDA software, but does expect that you know how to work with data in spreadsheet format.

2024 UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM (URS)

- URS is the signature event of Undergraduate Research Week (April 21 - 27), which brings together students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, as well as the public, to learn more about undergraduate research and its potential to change the world.
- Throughout the day, students will present their oral and poster presentations, creative performances, and interactive exhibits to campus and local community members.

BACK TO THE FUTURE REU AT SDSM&T

- South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSM&T), Black Hills
- The NSF REU Back to the Future site hosts students in a 10-week undergraduate research experience at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSM&T) in the beautiful Black Hills of SD.
- Research is focused on materials and metallurgical engineering with supplemental activities that explore the artistic and historical uses of metals and materials.
- Research topics: Archaeometallurgy, extractive metallurgy, welding and materials joining thin film research, corrosion engineering, nanomaterials and nanoparticle synthesis, and biomaterials.
- Successful applicants will be provided a $5000 stipend and housing.
